Can sessions be held by Telehealth? | Yes, in addition to offering face to face sessions, video sessions are also offered via a secure link, which does not require you to purchase any additional software or apps. A secure link will be forwarded to you prior to your appointment. Telephone sessions are also available. |
Does Medicare offer a rebate for Clinical Psychology? | Medicare does offer a rebate of $145.25 per session for eligible people who have a Mental Health Care Plan from their GP, and a referral letter to a psychologist. This covers 10 sessions per calendar year. After the first 6 sessions, you are required to be reviewed by your GP, who can then refer you for the additional 4 sessions. |
Do you bulk bill services? | No, the practice does not offer bulk billing. The service is paid for at the time of the consultation and the Medicare rebate is provided direct to the client usually within a couple of business days. |
What if I do not have a Mental Care Plan? | You are welcome to make an appointment that is self funded or refunded by your private health insurer, neither of which require a referral. However should your session be funded by NDIS, Workcover, your Employer or other third party an approval would be rquired prior to your first session. |
